Tiger Park

Tigers belong to the world's strongly endangered species: Several subspecies are in danger of extinction. Throughout the world only 30 golden tigers still exist, four of which live in Dassow in the Adventure and Tiger Park owned by the Farrel family. However, they are not the only predatory cats that live here: An Indochinese and an Indian tiger as well as lions complete the Dassower Felidae family.

The Farell's are experienced trainers who work with their predators on a daily basis. During the season visitors have the possibility to watch trainers and predatory cats at work on the occasion of training sessions, which take place twice a day. As - in spite of their co-existence with human beings - these fascinating cats will always remain dangerous, children will find more harmless furry companions in the petting zoo of the park such as Shetland ponies, alpacas and Owambo goats.
