Do you fancy feathers? Then the bird park in Marlow is the right destination for you. The 0.2-square-kilometre park is located directly on the plain tract of the Recknitz River. White and black storks, pink flamingos and lories of all colours, tiger-feathered finches and speckled owls impressively display the rich colours of birds from all continents. Here you can watch and get to know more than 150 species and their habitats.
The park offers visitors a restaurant, snack bars and picnic places, an extensive playground and a petting zoo. Flight shows with birds of prey are also on the programme. However, not only birds fly in Marlow: Numerous butterfly species such as the swallowtail, the passion-vine butterfly and the tree nymph inhabit the tropical house and display their exquisite wings here.
