Wildtierland (wild animal country) lies between Brohm and Jatznick right in the middle of the 150-metre-high Brohm Hills. It is the home of the red deer, the roe deer, the hare and the badger and also accommodates rare wild animals such as the sea eagle or the fire-bellied toad (Bombina bombina) on an area of approximately 10 square kilometres.
In the centrally located "Tal der Hirsche" (Valley of the Deer) as many as 90 red deer can be seen during the day. The "Hirsch Tage" (Deer Days) are the annual highlight at Wildtierland. During the rutting season Experience Nature Day near Klepelshagen offers a variety of events for the whole family. Animal lovers should not miss going to watch game from raised hides in the morning and evening.
Wildtierland is a joint project of the Deutsche Wildtier Stiftung (German Wild Animal Foundation) and the Klepelshagen Estate.
