Have you got a good head for heights? New challenges can be met in the high-wire garden of Neukloster. At an elevation of 10 meters you can walk on ropes and planks, get to know your own limits and try to go beyond.

Why don't you stop in Neukloster on your way to the sea? You should have a special look at the former Klosterkirche: the impressive monastery church was founded in the 13th century. Have you got some time left? Take a ride on your bike into the Lake District - Sternberg Seengebiet National Park and visit the reconstructed Slavic fortress Groß Raden.
At the place of present day Neukloster there was originally a convent. In 1219, Sonnenkamp, a Cistercian abbey, was
founded by Heinrich Borwin I. The inauguration of the late Romanesque basilica took place in 1236. This basilica and
the provostry belonging to the former monastery have been preserved until today.
After the Reformation Sonnenkamp was secularised. The town that had developed around the monastery was granted a town
charter in 1938.
